Apology for the double post. I skipped past the message where it said the post had to be approved, the first time.

I realized the error is because I moved the folder (after extracting) to Program Files. This seems to happen with the last few versions, too. This seems to be a permissions issue, but it'd be nice if the application was capable of running from that directory (especially since all those updates are also stored there). It's just easier to keep track of, and much easier to not accidentally delete.

What is the full path to your UpdateGenerator.exe?

Please try a path, which does not contain a space (e.g. "C:\wsusoffline").

Nothing to do with local permissions. read the error it tells you

this is because of the (x86) of Program Files.

it will also bring up this error if you save it in a folder called "New Folder (2)".
