Errors while downloading

Hi im having massive problems when selecting Windows defender and Microsoft security ess.

The downloads keep failing and it tries about 20 times and then quits with errors. The log file doesn't really show much at all but is anyone else having this issue as well ?????

Might be caused by a dropping connection and MS' servers not being in sync. There is not much you can do except for trying to get a stable internet connection.

Looks like a serious problem with the connection. That, or a firewall is blocking wget (the downloading utility used by WSUSOU). That's what you need to check.

P. S. Technical support of Dr. Web antivirus software told me that your application is in the list of its non-recommended resources. Ostensibly, WSUS Offline Update requests some private info and takes some dangerous rights. Is that true? And could you tell about similar features of your software?

The only thing wsusou does, is downloading updates from MS. The software is completely open source (http://trac.wsusoffline.net/browser/trunk). It just accesses files inside its own directory and the temporary folder.
For a list of servers, wsusou conncets to: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3863
The updates are determined dynamically ( viewtopic.php?f=7&t=172) from wsusscn2.cab (a catalog created by MS) and some of them downloaded via static definition (.\static).
