Hi,
I've seen similar problems in these forums with the proxy getting in the way, but rather than piggy-backing I thought I'd start a new thread.
I have not used an http proxy string before, do you have some examples of how to connect through a proxy? Perhaps I'm just entering it in the wrong way..
I have no problems using Windows Update or browsing web pages on the computer I'm trying to run this on.
Of interest, if the password contains characters like @ or : which are in the string can this cause problems?
For example, with the following made up details:
Username: jbloggs
Password: abc$*123
Proxy server IP: 10.5.30.4
Proxy server port: 7654
I've tried the following strings:
10.5.30.4:7654
jbloggs@10.5.30.4:7654
jbloggs:@10.5.30.4:7654
http://10.5.30.4:7654
http://jbloggs@10.5.30.4:7654
http://jbloggs:@10.5.30.4:7654 (this prompts for the password)
http://jbloggs:abc$*123@10.5.30.4:7654
Below is the log information.
Thanks!
