Download size, approximate

Download size, approximate

Postby Jeremy » 13.07.2014, 02:20

Can anyone give me a rough idea as to the size of the download I can expect currently for W62-x64, selecting Service Packs, Security Essentials, C++ runtime and .NET, i.e the whole lot?
I usually use WSUS on a download-unlimited service but I have a problem at the moment only having access to a mobile broadband service with obviously a fairly limited download allowance.
I don't want to start the download, only to see it running to a couple of gigs or more and thus have it blow my quota for the month and by that stage it would be too late to do anything about it.
Thanks,
Jeremy

Size for Win 6.2 (Win 8.0) is roughly 1 GiB for me. ServicePacks and MSSE (except signatures) don't apply, since there aren't SPs for Win8+ and MSSE is integrated (as Defender).

That's great, I was hoping for not much more than about 1GiB.
Yes ignore my ref to SP's and MSE etc in my last, I must have been asleep when I wrote that.
Thanks, cheers,
Jeremy
