I tried deleting the client\md\hashes-wxp-glb.txt and same error is there.
downloading on win7 x64.

have you tried deleting client\md\hashes-wxp-enu.txt, as this is the hash-file relating to this error?

Please make a backup of ...client\wxp\enu\WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-ENU.exe; then delete also ...\client\md\hashes-wxp-enu.txt and start the download again.

That worked, the SP3 file wasnt there, I deleted the .txt file and also upgraded to 8.2 and now its going great. Thanks again !
