Hi,

If I go through the files in the 'Static' folder and delete the entries for things like service packs, base installs of .Net, IE & Windows Media Player, will the download still contain all the appropriate patches for these products still? Or, do I need to leave these in until the downloads complete and then delete the downloaded files?

We want to have the base installs and service packs issued separately from the monthly updates for configuration management purposes and to keep the size down to as small as possible.

AFAIK dynamically determined patches are unaffected.

They would be re-downloaded on the next run.
