Hi and thanks for your work.

I used version 8.0 of WSUS Generator, I selected:

Office 2003 Italian
Office 2007 Italian
Office 2010 Italian
Win XP x86 Italian
Vista x86 and x64
Seven x86 and x64
Eight x86 and x64
Verify downloaded updates
Include Service Packs
Include C++ Runtime Libraries and .NET Frameworks
Include Microsoft Security Essentials
Include Windows Defender Definitions

in a USB medium (user defined folder); I don't need Windows Server and Windows XP x64; I don't need a ISO Image; since I have selected Italian language only, I expected to find MSSE Italian version (mseinstall-x86-ita.exe and mseinstall-x64-ita.exe) in the following folders:

\WSUS Installer\msse\x86-glb
\WSUS Installer\msse\x64-glb

but I only rispectively found:

mseinstall-x86-deu.exe
mseinstall-x86-enu.exe

and

mseinstall-x64-deu.exe
mseinstall-x64-enu.exe

infact, during installation, I noticed a warning (missing file); thanks in advance for your help.

A: Since Service Packs and updates for Windows Vista / 7 / Server 2008(R2) are multilingual, there's no 24-language selection table for these platforms, so by default, only the English and German versions of those localized installation packages for IEx, .NET and MSSE will be downloaded.
To have your favorite locale(s) downloaded in addition, you may use the ...\cmd\AddCustomLanguageSupport.cmd script.

In your case you should run the following command from your WSUSOU directory:
Code: Select all
.\cmd\AddCustomLanguageSupport ita
Then delete the file ...\client\md\hashes-msse.txt and run UpdateGenerator again!

Thanks, it works. The command "AddCustomLanguageSupport ita" involves .NET, IEx and MSSE, so I preferred to delete all and restart a clean job to eliminate unuseful files. Thanks, bye.

At the end of the first job I restarted the same job and I found other downloads, is it regular?
