Automatic Updating Repository

Automatic Updating Repository

Postby repairlogic » 02.09.2016, 14:54

I have been using WSUSOU for quite some time now in my repair shop. I typically use it over network and haven't really had any issues with most computers. However, one thing I wanted to talk about was if there is an ability to setup WSUSOU to automatically pull updates in the background. It may already have that function and I just haven't seen a place to activate. I'm okay if this can be done from command and using task scheduler so I can have it check for updates even once a day without me manually doing it. It also seems that even after I run updates to the program there always seem to be a lot of updates that are missed. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. - Robert

Reason: title adjusted; WSUSOU is not WSUS

For updating Microsoft patch repository by a scheduled task please see: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=120
The self update of WSUSOU is not supported by DownloadUpdates.cmd.

Please see Abdeckung des / Coverage of WSUS Offline Update (see also viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4182 ).
