Seperating Server 2016 and Win10

Seperating Server 2016 and Win10

Postby F1ynn77 » 09.08.2016, 16:25

Hello,

I have two questions today?

1) Is it possible to create an ISO with only the updates needed for Win10 and NONE of the updates for Server 2016? Can I download ONLY Win10 updates without Server2016? (Same for Win7/Server 2008 R2 and Win8.1/Server 2012 R2) I'm hoping this can reduce my ISO file size so I can try to fit the Win10 ISO on a dual-layer DVD instead of a Blu-ray.

2) Is it possible to create an ISO with ONLY the x64 Office 2013 Updates and a separate one with the x86 Updates

Thank you!

1) The updates for the client and the server one are exactly the same files (except for let's say about five updates per generation). Excluding them wouldn't cause a significant change in ISO size.

2) Sorry to say: it's impossible as MS doesn't even divide the Office updates into the versions. All updates are just marked as "ofc".
