Incorrect ExcludeList-Superseded.txt created

I have downloaded the latest WSUS offline 9.2.1
I ran the updategenerator (for April 2014) configured to download MS patches for Windows 8 machine.
I exported and ran the update installer on the Windows 8 machine. At this point there was no error and Windows 8 machine MS update applied OK.

Ran the MBSA for April 2014 and noted the KB2942844 was missing. In the WSUS offline folder, I checked for exclusion list and the only place KB2942844 appeared is in file ExcludeList-supersede.txt. This file is created by automatically by WSUS offline when you run the updategenerator. The download log file shows the deletion of the cab (KB2942844 ) file after it has been downloaded. If I update the ExcludeList-supersede.txt to remove all KB2942844 entries, this file is overwritten every time you run updategenerator.
What is odd is MBSA indicates KB2942844 is missing and WSUS offline indicate KB2942844 is superseded.

Is there a way to override this ExcludeList-supersede.txt as the KB2942844 is required on my Windows 8 machine and the MBSA show missing MS update KB2942844. Any workaround would be appreciated.

KB2942844 is replaced by KB2961887 from 2014-04-28.
Please try MBSA with latest wsusscn2.cab (2014-05-05 or newer)!

[update 2014-05-14]The latest Flash Player Update for IE under Windows 8/8.1 is now KB2957151 from 2014-05-13.
