Hello!

What I'm trying to achieve is to get all needed updates on my disk in order to slipstream them with nLite into my installation media. Since my installation already has SP3 I only need post-SP3 updates. I also don't need updates for WMP and IE since I remove them completely.

There are so many updates retrieved by script to various folders (622 MB) that I'm lost! I don't know how to recognize those released after SP3 and therefore I'm stuck.

Hope that someone can give me a hint here.

Hi!

WOU only contains patches which are not included in SP1-3.
Please use the exclude list to avoid patches for IE&WMP.

This means, WOU downloads all updates for wxp listed in the catalog file wsusscn2.cab, minus the ones listed in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946480, minus the ones listed in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811113, minus the ones listed in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324720.
