Warum ist es eigentlich nicht möglich, Silverlight wie jede andere optionale Komponente abzuhaken und von Download und Medium auszuschließen? Alles andere kann man abwählen, nur diesen Dreck nicht... :(

Ja, warum eigentlich nicht?

Ist wohl "historisch gewachsen", außerdem noch eine Option mehr für 20 MB...

Vielleicht stelle ich das aber demnächst mal um.

Tut mir leid wenn das etwas frustriert klang, aber ich betrachte SL genauso wie Flash als wandelnde Sicherheitslücke. Auch wird es in MU quasi aufgedrängt und muß mehrmals (vom aktuellsten bis zum ältesten) versteckt werden.

Ist eigentlich der AX Flash Player für Windows 8.x/10 an Board? Da dieser nicht (einfach) entfernbar ist und über MU verteilt wird, könnte er über WSUSOU aktuell gehalten werden.


Wegen der Optionen: Mir persönlich würde ein einfacher Eintrag in der INI (und der dazugehörige Parameter) schon reichen, ein Kästchen in der GUI ist nicht notwendig.

Ja, Flash ist in der wsusscn2.cab als normales Windows-Sicherheitsupdate verzeichnet. wsusou aktualisiert diesen dementsprechend auch.

Erledigt mit r725:
- DownloadUpdates.cmd script will now support "/excludewinglb" switch to avoid Silverlight downloads (Thanks to "boco")
- UpdateGenerator.ini file will now support "includewinglb" setting in [Options] to control "/excludewinglb" switch for DownloadUpdates.cmd

HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM.

Der neue

includewinglb=Disabled

Eintrag in der INI macht ja was er soll. Allerdings verhindert er leider keine Silverlight-Downloads.
Das Problem ist ganz einfach, daß der Eintrag dynamische win-glb-Updates überspringt. Funktioniert für Silverlight nicht, diese sind statisch definiert.

Griff ins Klo, und so... :mrgreen:
