[gelöst] 9 fehlende High-priority updates (XP SP3)

Hallo,

ich habe gerade WSUS Offline Update auf einer frisch installierten Maschine mit Windows XP SP3 (englisch + deutsches MUI) aufgerufen.
Das hat auch gut funktioniert und ich möchte mich an dieser Stelle auch für das hervorragende Tool bedanken!
Es nimmt mir sehr viel Arbeit ab.

Nachdem die Updates komplett durchgelaufen waren, habe ich die Windows Update Seite aufgesucht.
Dabei wurden 9 fehlende High-priority updates gefunden:

Keines dieser Updates ist in Microsofts Katalogdatei "wsusscn2.cab" verzeichnet (vgl. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=172).

Nein, was das Offline Update betrifft,

Etwas verspätet, aber vielen Dank für die Antworten!
Wenn der Microsofts Baseline Security Analyzer mit der Installation zufrieden ist (und das war er nach der Benutzung von WSUS Offline), soll mir das reichen. :D

der MSBSA nutzt auch "nur" die wsusscan2.cab :ugeek:

Ja, das hatte ich schon verstanden.
Aber das Tool gibt MS doch raus, um den Security-Status von Windows zu prüfen oder?
Und wenn denen der Zustand als sicher ausreicht, sehe ich keinen Grund, die Updates händisch zu flicken.

Bevor ich mit dem Tool gearbeitet habe waren in unseren Images nur Bruchteile der Updates.
Da ist der jetztige Zustand um Welten besser.

Genau.

So sehe ich das auch.
Weitere Updates können dann online über MS oder einen WSUS erfolgen.
