Lots of updates using WU after WSUS offline

Hello.

First of all, forgive me if this post isn't located here.

I have just updated a new clean Win8.1 installation using WSUS offline. After that I am seeing there are still a lot of critical not installed updates after searching with Windows Update (thirty-something updates worth almost 1,8GB). Why is that? I created the repository for WSUS Offline just one day before reformatting.

Ideas?

if you want to manually the missing updates. there are other posts on here that describe how to use custom files
