leider kein temporäres Problem!
Der Artikel Update for Microsoft Silverlight (KB3011970) existiert nicht mehr und das Update wird auch über Microsoft Update nicht mehr angeboten

Der KB-Artikel schon, aber gestern gab es auch noch die oben genannte Download-Seite (von der die URLs stammen) und der Download funktionierte.
Und gestern Abend hat auch das automatische Update KB3011970 angeboten. Heute neu gesucht und es wird wieder die Version von Juli 2014 angeboten (auf verschiedenen Rechnern mit Windows 7).

Moinmoin,

bei heise.de habe ich einen kurzen Hinweis zur zurückgezogenen Version gefunden:

Ein Update für Silverlight (KB3011970) hatte dazu geführt, dass Kopierschutzfunktionen nicht mehr funktionierten.

Der US-amerikanische Streaming-Anbieter Time Warner Cable wies Kunden daraufhin an, das entsprechende Update zu deinstallieren, um weiter TV-Sendungen streamen zu können. Microsoft hat das fehlerhafte Silverlight-Updates inzwischen aus dem Verkehr gezogen. Ersatz gibt es allerdings noch nicht.
