kann ich dich beruhigen, das war ein älterer Fehler im Katalog (siehe http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2901111/de unter Ersetzte Updates).

Quickfix für die anderen drei: Erstelle die Datei .\exclude\custom\ExcludeList-superseded-exclude.txt mit dem Inhalt

Ich hoffe Torsten gibt noch eine allerletzte Version für XP raus, wo alles berücksichtigt ist inkl. das 1. Mai Update.

Werde dann erst eine neue ISO erstellen und hoffen das sich nix mehr ändert.

Dieser Patch wird allerdings weder über das automatische Update noch über Microsoft Update für Windows XP SP3 angeboten; auch nicht per WSUSOU (v. 9.2.1+ (r580)).
Die Installation per Hand ist jedoch ohne Fehlermeldung möglich!

Gleiches gilt bei installiertem .NET Framework 4 auch entsprechend für KB2931365.

Hm, ich denke, da ist noch ein bißchen Handarbeit gefragt... Die Embedded-Updates müssen raus da sie irrelevant für XP sind (sind für POSReady 2009).

Ich sehe also keinen Anlass, noch eine weitere XP unterstützende Version zu veröffentlichen.

Die "embedded"-Updates werden zwar überflüssigerweise heruntergeladen, aber nicht installiert.
Das ist allenfalls unschön, aber eben nur kosmetisch.
Wer sich dennoch daran stört, muss nur der Datei ExcludeList-wxp-x86.txt einen Eintrag

Das halte ich für zumutbar.

Sehr schön das die .Net- und 1.Mai-Updates nun auch integriert sind

Eine Frage bleibt noch übrig:

Kann ich nun mit der ISO alle verschiedenen 32 Bit-Windows-Versionen die auf XP/NT5.1 basieren damit updaten wie
z.B. XP Media Center (2005) und alle XP Embedded-Varianten oder nur die Standard: Home Edition und Professional

Media Center und Tablet lassen sich mit wsusou einwandfrei updaten, Embedded nicht, da es andere Patches benötigt. Bei manchen Editionen (z.B. Media Center) kann es aber passieren, dass bestimmte Update Rollups nicht installiert werden (hier: die Media Center Rollups). Das müsste auf einem wsusou geupdateten System einmal mit Windows Update gegengeprüft werden.

First I would like to express how much I appreciate the work done in WSUS Offline Update !!!

It's by accident that I came aware of this topic. In the past I always relied upon "the latest version supporting ....." to build a final repository for a Windows/Office version.

From this topic I understand that might be problematic, as apparently some updates might still be needed, for which no "latest version" is released any-more. A pitty because one might not be aware of that, when that "latest version" is downloaded a year after it's release. The way I did it for Windows2000 and other office-versions. I think for future reference it would be great if the "latest version" really is the "latest complete version"

Is it really not possible to release a 9.2.2 (eventually a 9.2.1 -> 9.2.2 patch) with includes everything needed additionally to 9.2.1, the more that after the 9.2.1 release I understood that Microsoft recently announced another IE security update for XP

Please download all files named "ExtractDownloadLinks-wxp-x86-*.xsl" from r581 and replace the original ones in .\xslt. Then start a new download and the last missing patch will be downloaded.
