Yap, thanks – that was it ... in all .../files/... had upper-case F in front (.../Files/...); correcting it – and now is working

Sound like M$ is using a Linux server there, I can't remember to have seen case-sensitive M$ servers.

Quite ironic, isn't it? Otherwise, they are probably still using Windows servers with POSIX extensions.

that stuff is on the sysinternals-domain, not at microsoft directly (even if the sysinternals-page is at microsoft) ...
