Microsoft today released SP3 of the old Office compatibility pack (old version with separate Servicepack installer, this old version is not used by the current WOU). We may need to check for a new version of the Compatibility pack with integrated Servicepack (used by WOU).
Obviously the Office2007 SP3 is nearing completion/release.

I´ve installed the SP3 over an existing installation, it works fine. Also extracted the MSP´s and put them to "updates" folder of installationsource. Install from this source works also good.

But which SP3 should i use, the fullfile, for languagepack or for compatibility pack, i don´t know exactly

Da das "fullfile" SP3 geladen wird gehe ich davon aus dass es das richtige ist nicht "languagepack" oder "compatibilitypack"?

Ich bevorzugte englisch, damit auch nicht-Deutsche dem Thema folgen können, ein englischsprachiger Thread weist übrigends auch schon hierher.

Zum Thema: Ich bin ursprünglich über das SP3 für das alte Office Compatibility Pack gestolpert (da ich dies durchweg bei mir einsetze) und regte deshalb eine Suche nach einer aktualisierten Version des neuen OCP an. Dies sollte (in Kürze?) als Vollinstaller mit integriertem SP3 kommen oder ist gar schon irgendwo bei M$ vorhanden.
Über das Office SP3 bin ich erst später beim Test in einer VM gestoßen, ich hatte mich vorher aber schon über die 20 oder so aus ofc als veraltet entfernte Updates gewundert.
