Information regarding Server 2008 SP2 (Windows NT 6.0 kernel aka Vista) about upcoming changes to the servicing model in September 2018:

In short, Server 2008 will be switched to the Rollup / Security-only model. WOU will have to be extended to reflect that change.

First Rollups/Seconly updates for Server 2008 SP2 are released. The feature in WOU needs to be extended.

Server 2008 SP2 also seems to have its own .NET patches.

Hi.

I think I should extend the feature for W2k8, just to be complete.
However, how many people still use W2k8 and how many of them will ever freshly install W2k8?
It's the Vista kernel...
So this is a "nice to have" in my eyes.

Thanks and cheers,
Tosten

Well, I'm still testing Server 2008 SP2. It is supported until Server 2008 R2 also ends.

On the positive side of things: Server 2008 SP2 is the last OS that needs to be switched. Then, we have all.
