Hi,
I'm looking for a way to use this for Hyper-V Core server updates.
I don't see an option for this tyoe of server.
Could someone please point me to a direction where I can perform this? Or, is this also capable of these server types.

Thank You in advance,
Gus

if i remember hyper-v is a component of Server 2008 but they have put a version in the newer server OS's
at time of righting the current version (11.1.1) supports all the servers that hyper-v can run

you need to know what your hyper v base os is. once you know that you can then download and apply the updates. since hyper-v core is a specific server then you might have a lot more updates than you was expexting

@Cababs: No, the Hyper-V Server is a special Server SKU by MS, for running Hyper-V clients. It's a stripped-down server installation for exactly that one type of operation: Type-1 (Bare-metal) Hypervisor.

Yes, it's free. Only the Hyper-V Guests have to be licensed (of course).
