French and other languages

Postby ldefawe » 16.07.2016, 23:19

Hello
excuse me but I am French Belgium, and I would like to submit an idea.
Do you think that change the UpdateInstaller.au3 codes allow the user to change the language preference?
Explaining the language codes see https://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/do ... gCodes.htm
so that each modifies its preferential language?
Example: french in place of German, Austrian or Swiss.
Well to you.
Louis
Ps: can I suggest modification on some people that have doing a tuto ?

Hi Louis,

sorry for delay!

Since I can't maintain further languages, the GUIs will remain German and English.

Hi Louis,

If you have a procedure to configure WSUS Offline Tool to be able to download English (native) and French updates only, I'm very interested.

I'm in the same situation and when I try to patch a WIM file, a lot of updates are not valid due to the language... like IE11.

Just post your tweak on this post and I'm sure this could be very useful to allow many french people using this tool.

Regards,

The updates itself are mostly global. To get the IE, DotNET etc. packages in your language, please read the FAQ in the .\docs subdirectory (you have to execute a script to add support for French).
