Hello,
I could be cool if you remove the verification of updates installed.

In other words, every updates will be installed (no waiting) and if update are already installed on system, wusa.exe will only bypass it.

It could be very faster.

A checkbox to do that may be?

Thanks

There is a checkbox to activate/deactivate the verification of updates...

I think, buzzlight wants to skip "Listing ids of installed updates"

I guess the OP means the step that can take several hours, these days.

Exact! It's take 3-4 hours on each computer that I install Windows 7 SP1.

A little strage; on al computer I ever updated using wsusou it took less than 5 seconds...
What's the average performance of the computers you used wsusou on?
How many programs are installed?
Any AV software?

Hi.

This takes about 30 seconds on my Win7 VM:

Code: Select all
19.04.2016 10:31:52,43 - Info: Started service 'Windows Update' (wuauserv)
19.04.2016 10:39:44,97 - Info: Listed ids of missing updates
19.04.2016 10:40:19,62 - Info: Listed ids of installed updates

:?:

Cheers,
Torsten

Could you answer the other two questions, too?
Number of installed programs & AV software?
