Hallo,
Bei der Diskussion um das Servicingstack Update April 2015 KB3020369 für w6.1 ist untergegangen, dass auch für w6.3 das April Servicingstack Update KB3021910 am 12.07.16 durch das Juli 2016 Servicingstack Update KB3173424 ersetzt wurde (siehe Katalog [nur mit IE]). Es müsste in der StaticUpdateIds-wupre-w6.3.txt ersetzt werden.

Laut MS hat neue Servicing Stack Update July 2016 für Win8.1 (KB3173424) das April 2014 Rollup für Win8.1 (KB2919355) als Prereq, das wiederum das Servicing Stack Update March 2014 für Win8.1 (KB2919442) als Prereq hat. Aber wer weiß, ob die Angaben ebenso "genau" und "korrekt" sind wie bei Win7. Also irgendwie ist das totales Chaos bei MS. Da fragt man sich schon, ob die noch wissen, was sie tun und schreiben.

Die wird alles kleiner Windows 10 nicht mehr allzusehr interessieren. Und wie soll man ordentliche Arbeit abliefern mit minimaler Personalbesetzung? Fast alle hocken bei Win10. :?

KB3172605 [July 2016 update rollup for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1] ist laut Microsoft Update-Katalog (nur mit IE) am 12.09.2016 aktualisiert worden und hat neue URLs bekommen (wird auch über WU zur erneuten Installation angeboten).

Ich habe gerade mein WSUSoffline aktualisiert und danach einen Win7 64 pro Rechner aktualisiert. Dabei bekam ich diese Wundertüte KB3172605 auf meinen Rechner gedrückt, ohne kontrollieren zu können, ob das überhaupt sicherheitsrelevante Updates sind.

Drauflassen? Runtermachen? Ich hab kein Interesse an Microsoft Zwangsbeglückungen, daher nutze ich ja (u.a.) WSUSoffline...

Dank vorab für sachdienliche Hinweise. :-)

Das Juli-Rollup wird als "Prerequisite" installiert, weil es den aktuellen WU-Client enthält. Den gibts leider nicht einzeln, und er löst das Problem der ewigen Update-Suche. Beim Entfernen könnte das Problem wiederkehren.

Danke für die Info! Ich nutze aber eigentlich NUR WSUSoffline um Updates in Win7 Systeme einzuspielen. Oder ist mit diesem Weg selektiv Updates einzuspielen sowieso Schluß, wenn MS ab November (?) für Win7 nur noch Komplettpakete anbietet?

Ohne kb3172605 ist die Suche auch mit WOU langsam.

@harry: Mist, hab' ich leider zu spät gesehen... :(

Warum gibt man denen nicht eine neue kb-Nummer oder nennt sie zumindest "v2" o.ä.? :x
Um die Verwirrung komplett zu machen: Mit den bestehenden/alten URLs, die man über https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3172605 bekommt, also

, erhält man nun für x86 statt der alten (07-16-2016, 19,087,922 Bytes) eine neue Datei (09-09-2016, 19,091,604 Bytes), die mit windows6.1-kb3172605-x86_ae03ccbd299e434ea2239f1ad86f164e5f4deeda.msu identisch ist, für x64 aber weiterhin die alte (07-16-2016, 30,659,457 Bytes) statt windows6.1-kb3172605-x64_2bb9bc55f347eee34b1454b50c436eb6fd9301fc.msu (09-09-2016, 30,678,976 Bytes). :lol: :twisted:

Soll ich jetzt die neuen URLs einbauen oder warten, bis x64 auch umgeschaltet wird, oder wie oder was? :roll:
