I have a suggestion, since Windows XP support from Microsoft is thought to be ended, but in reality, it is still being supported for the next 5 YEARS on Point-of-Sale machines,aka POS systems (ie., Cash registers,ATMs,etc) that there should be an inclusion for those updates as a download option. Alot of us still use Windows XP in various ways and would probably love to be able to update our systems with these Critical and Recommended patches to keep our systems safe and useable.
There is a now well-known registry hack to make Windows XP able to download these updates and apply them.
To apply the hack, create a text file with a .reg extension and the contents below:

There will be no support for this illegal registry hack.
Wer Rechtschreibfehler findet, darf sie behalten oder an den Meistbietenden versteigern. / Everybody finding a misspelling is allowed to keep or sell it.
