UI improvements

WSUS Offline supports many products. Personally i have selected several because i'm an admin and want to update them all offline. Sometimes though i want to update only one product and it's inconvenient to have to clear all selections, do the update and then restore the selections (or manually rename the settings file) so my suggestion would be to have a "select all/select none" button for the checkboxes of each product (perhaps leftclicking on the title of the product could be select all and rightclicking, select none) and also a load/save button above or below the tabs to load/save all settings in a different INI file. Also two global "select all/select none" buttons would be nice.

What I do currently is setting the INI file to read-only after selecting my default settings. Thus the WSUSOU Downloader GUI won't save further changes anymore.

Well, that's a useful workaround. Still, i hope my proposals are considered.

Thanks for the tip.

Hi scurus,

Just a quick shot: Why not write a little batch file that replaces the ini file according to your needs? You could create a link to the batch with an ini name as parameter. A double click, and everything is done.

Well, ATM when i want to do a single product download, i'm manually backing up the INI file, do what i need to do and then restore the file. I might do this once a month so even the manual procedure will consume what, 30" more? It's not a big deal, i just thought it would be more elegant if this could be done from within the UI. That way one could have several INIs (one per product or set of products perhaps) and load whatever he needs.

Maybe it could be implemented to specify the name of the desired INI-file as parameter when starting the GUI. Quick and simple profile management.
