Hello,

I'm trying to update Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 which is running as a VM on an ESXi host. I selected the X64 Windows Server 2008 updates under the legacy tab and select start. It downloads the updates and I can see them in the w60-x64 folder. However when I run the updateinstaller.exe it fails with the following message: Medium does not support Microsoft Windows <w61 x64 enu>. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. If anything else is needed please let me know

Windows Server 2008 != Windows Server 2008 R2. The former is NT 6.0, the latter is NT 6.1. You must select the latter if you intend to install updates for that.

Use "Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2" when downloading.
