Hello Baramcook23,

Could you be a little bit more specific about the Win 10 assistance you mean in connection with WSUS Offline Update? Otherwise we could just guess and cannot help you.

Greetings

The Windows Update Assistant (version 1 and version 2) cannot be blocked easily, unfortunately. These kind of updates are force-installed without asking (exactly like the Update Remediation patch earlier) and you cannot do much to stop them. They even alter settings like re-enabling the Windows Update service.

If you have Windows 10 Pro and higher, you can delay "Feature Updates" (read: full build Upgrades) for up to 365 days (in the WU settings). Windows 10 Home or Home Single Language users are at the mercy of MS unless they know a lot of Registry voodoo.
