Can I install a patch(s)/update(s) that I have already downloaded, and what do I have to reconfigure? Thx!

Sure. See wsusoffline\client\DoUpdate.cmd on how to install the two different types of updates (MSU and CAB) - search for wusa.exe and dism.exe to find the commands. With the commands used in the script any update can be installed, although MSUs can be installed by just double-clicking them.
