Windows 7 IE10

Windows 7 IE10

Postby IronRod » 09.05.2017, 23:22

When staring the UpdateInstaller, it informs me that IE11 will automatically be installed. Is it possible to use WSUS Offline and NOT have it install IE11? I have a test system which is intentionally configured with IE10 and needs to remain at that level. Everything else is normally updated but it has recently reached the point where it won't go past the "Downloading" phase, trying to download 11 updates. I am completely new to WSUS Offline and what I read indicated it might be able to get me past this "download hang" situation.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Please note that IE11 is the only supported IE version on Windows 7.
