Schedule update generator

Schedule update generator

Postby IAAlan » 26.01.2017, 10:22

Hi

I'd like to schedule the update generator so that I know anyone using it is getting the latest updates but I can't figure it out. I found the page on the forums that says to run a script instead of updategenerator.exe but it was all meaningless to me.

Can someone point me in the direction of either a simple how-to on setting up the script or give me an example script to run that updates all OS and office products in English both x86 and x64?

Thanks.

That's the thread I found, it doesn't explain anything it's just a bunch of code with no explanation of what that code does, how you run that code with task scheduler or any other help. It may make sense to people that code but unfortunately to me it doesn't.

Make it easy:
- start UpdateGenerator and select "just create collection script"
- press the "Start"-button
- unselect the option
- use the task scheduler to schedule .\cmd\custom\RunAll.cmd
