Re: how to run update.cmd

Hello,

you need administrative rights to do the update.
If you log in with administrative account AND if you map then the network drive, it should work.
If you log in with an user account (without admin rights) and you map then the network drive, it will not work.

If you want to run the updates with such an user account, you need to run the task with an administrative account and also this admin account needs to map the network drive.
The admin account can not use the network drives, which the user has mapped.

Create a batch file and save it on the local disk:
Code: Select all
net use T: \\server\share
T:\update.cmd

Create then a task, which will use this batch file AND let this task run with an admin account.

PS. our english is also not the best :ugeek:

thanks a lot!
The schedule task seems to be running. But I'm not sure. By logging in as user I can see in task manager cmd.exe running with administrative rights. But how do I know that update process is running? I do not see anything on the screen. How can I find out that the system was updated?
P.S.
Eigentlich mein Deutsch ist ein bisschen besser. Viele Gruesse nach Dresden und Pirna - war dort einmal. Danke fuer ihr programm und unterstuetzung! :geek:
