Please update wsusou to the newest version and rerun UpdateGenerator as a few problems with the software were fixed. Therefore wsusou has a self updater. If you run UpdateGenerator, it will ask you to update wsusou to version 9.1.

"Just prepare ISO": this will skip the download a just create a new ISO file.
"Only create collection script": this will generate a script, you can run as a sheduled task
"Clean up download directory": this will delete superseded updates (I really recommend you to enable this)
"Clean up target": the same as clean up download, but it will clean the usb target dir (if you enabled the copy to usb option)

hello aker. thank you for the details. As we continue, we went through the 9.1 automated update. As of today prior to the 9.1 update, using WSUS 9.0 we were up-to-date for XP. After we updated to 9.1 now we see WSUS is downloading a newer version of wsusscn2.cab. Is there a way to just add the additions to this wsusscn2.cab or must we download the entire version? It is a 78383176 (75M) file compared to the one yesterday which was 74.8 MB file. That's a whole lot of file for the difference. Or because this is a new WSUS version is needs to re-download certain file? thank you.

No it is not possible. You have to download the complete wsusscn2.cab.
But then wsusou will just download new patches. It won't redownload already downloaded updates.
