Please review the code for delete the user WOUTempAdmin. The Registry Key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon" is keeping incorrect information.

Example, if windows has a single user, no password, just autostart.

Code: Select all
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"ReportBootOk"="1"
"Shell"="explorer.exe"
"PreCreateKnownFolders"="{A520A1A4-1780-4FF6-BD18-167343C5AF16}"
"Userinit"="C:\\Windows\\system32\\userinit.exe,"
"VMApplet"="SystemPropertiesPerformance.exe /pagefile"
"AutoRestartShell"=dword:00000001
"Background"="0 0 0"
"CachedLogonsCount"="10"
"DebugServerCommand"="no"
"ForceUnlockLogon"=dword:00000000
"LegalNoticeCaption"=""
"LegalNoticeText"=""
"PasswordExpiryWarning"=dword:00000005
"PowerdownAfterShutdown"="0"
"ShutdownWithoutLogon"="0"
"WinStationsDisabled"="0"
"DisableCAD"=dword:00000001
"scremoveoption"="0"
"ShutdownFlags"=dword:00000033

After finish WSUS Offline Client, deletes the WOUTempAdmin user, but the following data persist

Code: Select all
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"ReportBootOk"="1"
"Shell"="explorer.exe"
"PreCreateKnownFolders"="{A520A1A4-1780-4FF6-BD18-167343C5AF16}"
"Userinit"="C:\\Windows\\system32\\userinit.exe,"
"VMApplet"="SystemPropertiesPerformance.exe /pagefile"
"AutoRestartShell"=dword:00000001
"Background"="0 0 0"
"CachedLogonsCount"="10"
"DebugServerCommand"="no"
"ForceUnlockLogon"=dword:00000000
"LegalNoticeCaption"=""
"LegalNoticeText"=""
"PasswordExpiryWarning"=dword:00000005
"PowerdownAfterShutdown"="0"
"ShutdownWithoutLogon"="0"
"WinStationsDisabled"="0"
"DisableCAD"=dword:00000001
"scremoveoption"="0"
"ShutdownFlags"=dword:00000027
"DefaultUserName"="WOUTempAdmin"
"DefaultDomainName"="FAMILIA-PC"
"AutoAdminLogon"="1"

The problem, nothing happens yet. That information goes there, doesn't cause problems

Code: Select all
"DefaultUserName"="WOUTempAdmin"
"DefaultDomainName"="FAMILIA-PC"
"AutoAdminLogon"="1"

But when certain errors occur with installations of Windows Installer, later, perhaps months later, Windows tries to start with the user WOUTempAdmin, and it no longer exists.

Please could you check this?
