Hi every one !

I' will try to explain you my problem , my english spoken was not really perfect but i think i can figure it out !

I'm a It tech in a huge parc with 7 distants sites , and 200 PC running with Xp/Windows 7 and Ubuntu12.04 LTS.

In order to help my bosses to manage all this people , we have wpkg express install and deploy on our windows clients.

My question is simple : with the Xml package of this website : http://wpkg.org/Heise_Offline-Update

I take the Ctcheck.js and offlineupadte.cmd from the site , and i try to run the process in a test client under windows 7 ( The files are in my samba3 share , accessible by everyone in readeing/writing ( for the test ) And the log file of the test client of wpkg say this error :

Code: Select all

First Edit :

It's look like wpkg agent can't arrive to find the path to the script offlineupdate.cmd , anyone can tell me wich user is use by wpkg agent to install and remove packages ? ( my root user mount the network path to %WPKGROOT% ).

If anyone have suggestions...

Second edit:

I find the solution guys , hope that will help you too !

UNC path can't be use with cmd.exe in windows , so the network drive cannot be mount with a batch or cmd file.
But you can make cmd.exe accept the UNC path by adding this entery into the reg database : regedit and add this entry

HKEY_CURRENT_USER
\Software
\Microsoft
\Command Processor

REG_DWORD: DisableUNCCheck abd add the 1 number ( hex )
And it work perfectly !
