recommended as security patches or optional (& not picked up thru
the dynamic update checking). There are quite a few
of them this cycle. WSUSoffline couldn't install a few of them:
- Code: Select all
Warning: Installation of ..\o2k3\enu\office2003-KB2825621-FullFile-ENU.exe failed (errorlevel: 1)
Warning: Installation of ..\o2k3\enu\office2003-KB2817474-FullFile-ENU.exe failed (errorlevel: 1)
Warning: Installation of ..\o2k3\enu\office2003-KB2810048-FullFile-ENU.exe failed (errorlevel: 1)
Warning: Installation of ..\o2k3\enu\office2003-KB2817682-FullFile-ENU.exe failed (errorlevel: 1)
I don't know what errorlevel 1 means here - command line option error?
I can install these myself in a script (mostly silently, no interaction) with, & usually only with, /Q as an option.
Any ideas? I'd rather not script this install myself if WSUSoffline can handle it, but it's unhappy
about something. If somebody has any ideas let me know, I have a few test platforms available
& can't finish the mass update for a few days anyway.
Script installs fine first time.
When I try to install them a 2nd time I either get a 0 return or 17025 - something knows it's been installed.
Related to my other post today, these are found again by Windows Update for some reason &
it attempts re-installation. I don't know what the packages do themselves but I presume they don't
self-update the host's installation db.
