no successful updating on Win7 x64 (SP1)

Hi folks,

I like to use wsusoffline Updater; I deploy via "opsi" software deployment system.

the install runs fine on W7 x32 SP1 (Patches install, and all fine after reboot).
With W7 x64 SP1, Patches are installed according to the dosbox appearing. But ffter machine reboot, same number of updates are listed for installation.

Did anybody have those difficulties and maybe has an explanation/solution to it?

I installed without any params before, changed now to /updatecerts /updatetsc , but still same effect.

Hi folks,

thanks for input.
However, its necessary to call the 'DoUpdate.cmd' - Section with special paramter within opsi installation system. The reason for this is the 'Windows Installer' winst beeing a 32bit application. In order to use the right paths and registry branches with x64, it needs to be called like this:

DosInAnIcon_DoPatches winst /64Bit

followed by a cmd - like section calling DoUpdate.cmd (Options) .
