And yes, some MS mirrors behave strangely. But even if you downloaded it externally and placed it where it belongs, you still have to clear appropriate file inside the ./client/md directory to have it regenerated.

Ok. Well replacing the .cab did it. There is nothing in the md folder. I just get validation errors. I guess I forgot to turn off validation. The validation issue has been going on for a while throughout several versions.

That's strange. Again, the validation is done by a third-party utility, named hashdeep. http://sf.net/projects/md5deep It's from the U. S. Air Force and should therefore work. :mrgreen: I never had problems, apart from messing up myself (e. g. terminating the script at the wrong place).
