That would be great!
But could all the computers download their updates at the same times of the netwerk drive? if not, how fast does a computer download those updates from the netwerk drive? 5mins? 30mins? Also can this netwerk drive be my laptop?
Also do I need to do something with GPO to make the computers download and install the updates automatically? Or do i need robocopy?
I think the script is pretty hard to write tho, so good luck and Thanks in advance im looking forward to see this awesome system
BTW, can I run the UpdateGenerator.exe thru my C# file, so it will only download the updates in the static > custom-map? or do I need to run the UpdateGenerator.exe by myself? I only want to download trunk > static > custom. I cannot find the `UpdateInstaller.ini`-file in my client-map to change `skipdynamic=Disabled` to Enabled. Is this map changed?
Is it this: ?
- Code: Select all
If MyIniRead($ini_section_installation, $ini_value_skipdynamic, $disabled) = $enabled Then
$options = $options & " /skipdynamic"
Also could you tell me why these updates arent working:
- Code: Select all
%SystemRoot%\System32\cscript.exe //Nologo //E:vbs .\cmd\XSLT.vbs "%TEMP%\package.xml" .\xslt\ExtractDownloadLinks-mssl-x64-glb.xsl "%TEMP%\DownloadLinks-mssl-x64.txt"
%SystemRoot%\System32\cscript.exe //Nologo //E:vbs .\cmd\XSLT.vbs "%TEMP%\package.xml" .\xslt\ExtractDownloadLinks-mssl-x86-glb.xsl "%TEMP%\DownloadLinks-mssl-x86.txt"
%SystemRoot%\System32\cscript.exe //Nologo //E:vbs .\cmd\XSLT.vbs "%TEMP%\package.xml" .\xslt\ExtractDownloadLinks-wddefs-x64-glb.xsl "%TEMP%\DownloadLinks-wddefs-x64.txt"
%SystemRoot%\System32\cscript.exe //Nologo //E:vbs .\cmd\XSLT.vbs "%TEMP%\package.xml" .\xslt\ExtractDownloadLinks-wddefs-x86-glb.xsl "%TEMP%\DownloadLinks-wddefs-x86.txt"
probably because they arent in my .xslt folder, how could I add those into it?
Also when I run the
- Code: Select all
ExtractUpdateIdsAndDownloadLinks-ofc
I wont get the KB-numbers with it? only a few but most are like this:
- Code: Select all
http://download.windowsupdate.com/d/msdownload/update/software/secu/2013/09/excelintl-fi-fi_256bdd2f83aedace60c3f6f656b0bcd3df89335f.cab
Also I missed some dotnet updates when I download the w60-x64 for example, so I had to add the dotnet-x64 to the list
