Hallo zusammen,

kann es sein dass in trunk 224 ein Problem beim Download von .NET Updates im Zusammenhang mit W7 besteht :?:

Habe W7 x86 UND x64 zusammen in einem Repositry, dazu .NET (im Updategenerator aktiviert). Beim ersten Durchlauf wurde grad mal .NET x86 verarbeitet, x64 garnicht. Bei weiteren Downloads wurde .NET komplett ausgelassen :shock:

Dotnet wird nur noch einmal pro Tag überprüft. Könnte es das schon sein?

Hmmm, kann ich jetzt so auch nicht sagen. Wenn dann hätte zumindest x86 UND x64 beim ersten Durchlauf überprüft werden müssen 'denk* sieht aber nicht so aus als ob das geschehen wäre :?: So ganz erschliesst sich mir der Sinn ohnehin nicht warum die nur einmal (täglich) überprüft werden sollen :?

Na, darüber beschweren sich doch viele seit Monaten, dass .NET zu oft, d.h. für jede Plattform, überprüft wird.

*Ironiemodus ON* Aber um den "Beschwerdeführern" gerecht zu werden schlage ich vor die .NET Updates für x86 an allen geraden Tagen zu überprüfen und die für x64 an den ungeraden (oder umgekehrt) und die .NET Installationspakete vielleicht nur an Sonntagen oder hohen MS-Feiertagen (Patchday) *Ironiemodus OFF* :lol:

Sorry, aber sich darüber zu beschweren kann ich nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Und dass der WSUSOU deswegen "verschlimmbessert" wurde finde ich persönlich schade *grummel* :(

Also folgendes: Wenn man nur wenige Dinge angehakt hat, fällt es nicht so auf, aber bei vielen ist die redundante Überprüfung ein und der selben Sache nur noch ärgerlich und verschwendet Zeit und Ressourcen. Einmal pro Tag ist vielleicht nicht der günstigste Kompromiß: Einmal pro Durchgang wäre optimal (mit Hilfe von Flagfiles z. B.).

Vielleicht könnte man dotnet in einen eigenen Reiter auslagern mit Schaltern für an/aus, Auswahl für die Sprachpakete sowie die Auswahl für Updates-x86 bzw -x64.
Bei der Auswahl der Updates könnte man einen bedingten Schalter einführen wie bei ofc glb - bei Auswahl irgendeines x86-OS und dotnet an ist auch automatisch Update-x86 an, gleiches bei x64-OS.

Das mit den sich ständig wiederholenden Downloads/Verifizierungen trifft übrigends auch auf ofc + Sprache zu. Vielleicht könnte man dort auch mit einem bedingten (versteckten) Schalter arbeiten - wenn irgendein Office + Sprache x dann ofc glb + ofc Sprache X, wenn irgendein Office + Sprache X + Sprache Z dann ofc glb + ofc Sprache X + ofc Sprache Z.

Dies sind aber alles eher kosmetische Geschichten, die man einpflegen könnte wenn Zeit (und Lust) vorhanden ist.

Kann ich verstehen und würde mich wohl auch nerven. Bei mir isses nicht so relevant weil ich meine Repositrys anders orgnisiert habe: eins für XPx86 MIT .NET, eins für o2k7 und eins für W7 (x86 UND x64) MIT .NET.

Jepp, das wäre in der Tat optimal. Aber ob sich das so einfach realisieren lässt... :?: Vielleicht lässt sich diese Funktion ja abschalten wenn man die hashes-dotnet´s...txt löscht?

Ich denke an das Szenario wenn man an einem (unerwarteten) Patchday bereits vor Erscheinen der neuen Katalogdatei einen Durchlauf gestartet hatte und dann bis zum nächsten Tag warten müsste um eventuelle neue Updtes auch tatsächlich laden und installieren zu können... :geek:

Der Vorschlag von Denniss klingt auch stimmig und sinnvoll, deshalb unterstütze ich diesen Vorschlag. Aber ob Cheffe Zeit und Lust hat ... :?: ... wenn wir ihn vielleicht ganz lieb bitten... ;)

So werde ich es, wohl oder übel und "in Notwehr gegen den WSUSOU" :lol: wohl tun, zumindest bis eine bessere Lösung da ist :mrgreen:
