Problem's wsusoffline113

Hi

I have been trying to use wsusoffline113 since yesterday but upon making my OS selection it asks me to download a new version. I know this is the latest so I click no and then I get a 'error downloading verifying updates for w61 glb' message. Can't even view the download.log as it says it's not found. Tried older releases with the same outcome.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Could you post the last part of .\log\download.log in [Code]-tags here?

How did you start wsusou?
If you extracted the zip-file, you should find a folder named "log" inside. This one contains the download.log.

Hi

I have been using wsusoffline for years and have never had this problem.

I simply download the release and extract using winrar and run UpdateGenerator.exe. Since yesterday it's been telling me there is a new release despite 11.3 being the latest from what I can see. Versioncheck dialogue is giving me the option to update or not. If I click no and press start I get the error message that I first posted about 'error downloading / verifying updates for w61 wlb. Clicking on the log folder there is just a empty txt file called dummy.

Regards

Where do you store wsusou (internal HDD, USB device, network drive, something else)?
Which path do you use?

Hi

Just to let you know I have just tried 11.3 in a virtual machine and everything is working ok. So something is blocking it on the host machine. Never had this issue before and I don't know why it's suddenly started happening. Time for a clean install I think.

Sorry to waste your time and thanks for your help.

Regards

No problem. If you find out, what's the problem on the host, please let me/us know. Could possibly help in the future.

Some ideas:
- Check, if there is a cmd autorun (Registy "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor" or "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Command Processor", a value named "AutoRun")
- Check, if you are able to run wsusou from command line (open a cmd and enter "cd /d ...\wsusoffline\cmd" and ".\DownloadUpdates.cmd w61 glb")
