Throughout both versions I get the following anomolies

This type of renaming is done, if you set UpdateGenerator.exe to use a local WSUS server. WSUS servers only use the SHA-1 hash as a filename, not the original filename as used on the Microsoft download servers. The SHA-1 hash is embedded in the original filename as a hexadecimal number of 40 digits.

But it seems, that the name of the WSUS server was entered as "forum". You should recheck this setting in the application UpdateGenerator.exe. You can also find this option in the settings file UpdateGenerator.ini.

There are no errors or warnings.

wget surely printed two error messages "wget: unable to resolve host address `forum'".

then there was the download for Office which didn't copy to the USB stick.

Select your Office version and check the option "USB medium - Copy updates for selected products into directory:" and then try a new download run. I think, the UpdateGenerator.exe does not simply copy the whole client directory in one pass; it copies only the selected updates one-by-one.

Which version of wsusou do you use?
9.1 & 9.2?
Please first update to the latest version (ATM 10.9.2) to get all current fixes.

Thank you for your response.

wget surely printed two error messages "wget: unable to resolve host address `forum'".

What I meant was that it wasn't flagged as an error that is why I referred to it as an anomaly.
(This was all throughout the download run not just the two I had pasted).
Must be my error. ( )

Aker,
Which version of wsusou do you use?

I am using version 10.9.2 of wsusou
