Why are German versions of some updates downloaded?

Skipsdd=Enabled will prevent update of the static definitions from remote. As you only use release versions (as opposed to trunk ones), you should set Skipsdd=Disabled again as soon as the problem is (claimed to be) fixed. Otherwise you'd not get newest static definitions when MS changed anything again (which happens often).

tl;dr: As soon as the problem is announced to be fixed, set Skipsdd=Disabled again.

Be prepared, that this story is not yet over, at least not for w61-x64:

Just for the record: I only download updates for x86, not x64, and had this behaviour. So it's definitely not limited to w61-x64

Hi!!

I'm using WSUS 10.8 26/9/2016.
I removed the German Language Support and it still downloads the file dotnetfx35langpack_x86de.exe.
But for the 64bit edition it downloads the spanish version dotnetfx35langpack_x64es.exe (the right one).

Sorry about my english...

Cheers

Did you run or delete that cmd-file?

Did you select any x86-version of Windows in UpdateGenerator?
Looks like the x86-files haven't been touched after you removed the German language support.

I ran
RemoveGermanLanguageSupport.cmd
and then
"AddCustomLanguageSupport.cmd esn"

In the generator I selected "x86 Global" and "x64 global".

Cheers!
