Hello,

When running the download of XP updates to a local drive on a Win7 SP1 x64 computer with v9.0, each time the console gets to a line that says "Verifying digital signature files for ..." it stalls & causes a browser window to open with the URL "https://www.virustotal.com/en/about/terms-of-service/". If I then click the console window and press ENTER the download will continue. This happens about 8 or more times during the whole downloading process.

This is very similar to the problem described in this thread :-

Fortunately after the download procedure has completed it seems to result in a healthy set of updates, but can anything be done to prevent the browser windows from opening and stalling the procedure so many times?

It looks like, that Microsoft changed the parameters for sigcheck.exe again.
Please post the content of .\log\download.log.

Thanks for your help Harry.
I activated WSH but unfortunately the original issue is still occurring.
(I set HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Script Host\Settings\Enabled=1)
Any other suggestions? I've already moved sigcheck.exe out of the bin folder to force it to download a new one. It's v2.3.0.0

Harry, many thanks for your suggestions. I undertook all the steps suggested in your links to ensure that WSH was properly installed & registered but this unfortunately this did not fix the disruption to the update procedure.

T.Wittrock, thanks heaps for the update to v9.1 ... this has completely eradicated the pop-up web pages & the need to press ENTER in the console to continue. It works perfectly for me now. Much appreciated.
