installing MS Security Essentials on 2012 r2

I'm looking to install MSSE on windows server 2012 r2. Is there any current way to do that via the wsuoffline doupdate.cmd?

If not what is the path to the installer files for msse in the offline directory? I see that windows desktop experience is required and I have already installed that component. I understand that this may not be fully supported by MS.

Thanks,
Blake

MSSE isn't compatible nor required on Windows Server 2012 R2 (equal to Windows 8.1).
It has been superseded by the Windows Defender in Windows 8 / Windows Server 2012.
Just enable Windows Defender in the Server-Manager (at least this is how to do on Windows Server 2008 R2).

I have spent some time looking and I see no way of adding defender to windows server 2012r2 enterprise. I'm all for any actual code examples that do that.. For now I'm adding MS Security Essentials to Win Server 2012r2 with this process..

Following up on this. For windows server you need to add-windowsfeature desktop-experience to get defender. It's much better than the essentials I was looking at...
