Hi.

I have been using this product for a number of years. Just wondering the best way to cleanup/remove files that are no longer supported in the client patcher. For example I still have the windows XP and Server 2003 folder with all its files in there, Is there a cleanup task I can run to remove these unwanted files, My Wsusoffline folder is now 26 Gig :)

Thanks
Grant.

Please remove those orphaned directories manually. If Wou is updated and support for an OS removed, WOU completely forgets about that OS.

I would love to see a cleanup option for unsupported OS's to save disk space.

How will I know which folders to remove, some files are shared, some are OS specific?

Can this be an enhancement request?

Grant

Hello Grant,

you can take a look at the list of platform codes. Just delete (or archive) the subdirectories of those platforms that are not supported anymore by WSUS Offline update or that you definitely won't use anymore. Other subdirectories that are not related to a specific platform stay permanently (e.g. bin, cmd, cpp, dotnet, etc.).
