Warning: Installation of .. failed (errorlevel: 1058)

i successfully created a windows 7 x64 ISO using wsusoffline generator.
on a standalone windows 7 x64 VM, i ran wsusoffline installer. it failed with the warnings listed below. can someone please verify that it is because the grace period for the windows OS has expired or should it have installed anyways and errorlevel 1058 indicates a different problem?
i use the windows 7 standalone VM to test new SW on. i have windows 7 standalone production units with Dell Windows 7 OS, so i have no way (that i know of) of accessing their registry key.

WSUSOU needs the Windows Update service (and a few other components). With a disabled service it cannot run.

oh, ok... i thought automatic update meant that it would try to pull from the internet and since it is standalone i disabled. thank you! i will try on monday have a good weekend, boco and harry

You can leave it on Manual (but not Disabled).
