Windows 8.1 Update 1

Sorry for the noob question. I just fount this great tool yesterday.
I currently use version 9.1 but it seems that the Windows 8.1 Update is not included.
How do I go about to use the latest version (r573)?
Or must I wait for new release?

Download the newest trunk form here:
http://trac.wsusoffline.net/changeset/5 ... format=zip (r573)

Then unpack the zip-file and open a command prompt. Enter these commands:

cd "<path to you trunk folder>"
mkdir ..\wsusou_r573
.\PrepareReleaseTree.cmd "..\wsusou_r573"


Then copy the content of ...\wsusou_r573 into your old wsusou dir and oberwrite all files.

Hi!

Hier ein kurzes Feedback zur Implementierung in r572. Die Installation hat bei mir auf drei Systemen funktioniert (inkl. einer VM).

Ich weiß nicht, wo diese Liste herkommt, aber ich halte mich in solchen Dingen gern an die Herstellerangaben zum Windows 8.1 Update / KB2919355 ("Install Instructions"): "These KB's must be installed in the following order: KB2919442, KB2919355, KB2932046, KB2937592, KB2938439, and KB2934018."

Das entspricht (nicht zufällig) exakt der Reihenfolge in "StaticUpdateIds-w63-upd1.txt":

Bevor ich den Patch kb2939087 zusätzlich in "StaticUpdateIds-w63-upd1.txt" aufnehme, würde ich gern noch etwas abwarten, wen bzw. wie viele Anwender dieses Problem überhaupt betrifft, denn die Informationen auf http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2939087/en-us sind ja sehr spärlich...

Man hört ja auch verschiedentlich von Problemen mit dem Windows 8.1 Update 1 (kb2919355) in Verbindung mit älteren WSUS-Servern, die nur HTTPS-Verbindungen zulassen, etwa in http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/ ... 67096.html oder http://www.tecchannel.de/news/themen/wi ... _per_wsus/.
Daher ist womöglich noch mit einem weiteren "Fix" zu rechnen.

Die Liste stammte ursprünglich von CHIP (s. erster Beitrag dieses Themas), ich konnte sie in einer VM (nach dem 8.4.) jedoch über Windows Update genau so überprüfen. Auf andere KB-Nummern habe ich zu dem Zeipunkt nicht geachtet, da ich diese als für das Update 1 unwichtige Updates eingeschätzt hatte.


Bei einer Suche über Windows Update (Windows 8.1 Update-Stand März 2014) meldet es mir KB2939087 als zu installierendes Update. KB2934018 ist in der Liste jedoch nicht vorhanden (taucht aber eventuell nach der Installation noch auf, ich sehe es mir mal an).
