hallo

erstmal danke! für eure software - echt hilfreiches programm :-)

leider bekomme ich den fehler: "Download failure for win glb"

beim lesen hier im forum sah ich hier dass 2 files erreichbar sein sollen, einen davon - diesen hier: http://download.wsusoffline.net/StaticDownloadLinks-win-x86-glb.txt kann ich *nicht* erreichen (gibt n 404 bei euch - da hab ich ja keinen einfluss drauf) - falls das der einzige fehler sein sollte wäre es nett wenn ihr das file kurz wieder uploaden könntet - danke! :mrgreen:

(falls sich die url der datei geändert hat: wie lautet die neue und wo muss ich bei mir lokal ändern damit wieder alle läuft) -

oder (falls es das alles nicht sein sollte): was liegt mein fehler?
avira antivirus & spybot mit zonealarm machen eigentlich keine probleme - proxys habe ich keine laufen - system + internet läuft sonst gut...

Es liegt aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach am Server, auch bei mir gibt dieser Link einen 404 aus. Idee zur Problemlösung:
Wsusou so umbauen, dass es diese Datei ignoriert, wenn der Server keine zur Verfügung stellt.
Ähnlich könnte man es mit der StaticDownloadLinks-modified.txt machen.

Es liegt nicht daran, daß http://download.wsusoffline.net/StaticDownloadLinks-win-x86-glb.txt nicht vorhanden ist, denn es wird gar nicht versucht diese herunterzuladen, siehe erstes Log:

Neue Vermutung, der Fehler liegt bei den superseded Updates, sonst hätte die Konsole noch ein "Done" ausgeben müssen.
Das Problem wird also irgendwo hier ausgelöst (Zeile 943 bis 983)
Man müsste prüfen, ob die einzelnen Dateien, welche zur Ermittlung der superseded Updates verwendet werden, korrekt erstellt werden.

Zuerst würde ich versuchen, die wsusscn2.cab neu herunterzuladen; dazu bitte die Datei .\client\wsus\wsusscn2.cab sowie .\client\md\hashes-wsus.txt löschen und einen neuen Download starten.

Wenn das nicht hilft
Start -> Ausführen -> "%temp%" eingeben (ohne Anführungszeichen) -> OK

Bitte alle Dateien löschen, wsusou Download starten und warten, bis der Fehler auftritt und dann eine Liste der Name aller Dateien hier schreiben (das hilft, den fehlschlagenden Vorgang zu identifizieren).

beide dateien löschte ich:

und stiess den download neu an - fehler: Download failure for win glb.

ich habe aber noch etwas gesehen und zwar dass auf meinem rechner für die obige temp dir:
a) "D:\temp\!winXP Administrator (muss bleiben)"
extra (und somit quasi gleichzeitig) ein verzeichnis angelegt wurde mit namen
b) "D:\temp\WINXP~4"
um in b alles für 8.3 (also dos-filenames) abzufangen was in a) nicht landet und *dort* (also in b) liegt eine datei mit dem namen:
"ValidStaticLinks-win-glb.txt"
und drin befindet sich:

und das sieht doch aus wonach wir suchen,oder?

habt ihr in eurem code vielleicht 2 verschiedene dir-erkennungs.methoden() drin?
bei save "D:\temp\WINXP~4\ValidStaticLinks-win-glb.txt" und/aber
bei load @ "D:\temp\!winXP Administrator (muss bleiben)\ValidStaticLinks-win-glb.txt"
und deshalb wird die datei nicht gefunden?...

- das passiert anderer soft auch gelegentlich - deshalb habe ich ja dieses verzeichnis anlegen müssen...

Die static Links sind, so sieht man es in der Konsole, bereits fertig erstellt. Nun macht der nächste Vorgang (das ermittteln der bereits ersetzten Updates Probleme).

Ein einfacher Test:
Erstellen Sie ein Verzeichnis, dessen Pfad weder Leerzeichen noch sonst etwas enthält, was DOS stören könnte (z.B. D:\tmp\) und benennen Sie die Datei .\cmd\custom\InitializationHook.cmdt in InitializationHook.cmd um (also aus cmdt wird cmd).
Als Inhalt setzen Sie folgenden Befehl in die Datei:

(wichtig: kein abschließender Backslash).

Dies lässt wsusou den dort eingetragenen Pfad als temporären Ordner verwenden.

es lag am %temp% verzeichnis (merkwürdigerweise in 8.3 anders erkannt als in/mit 'long filenames' - das habe ich so vorher auch noch nie erlebt, denn so etwas ist ja auch eigentlich nicht möglich :shock:

mal sehen wie's weitergeht (download dauert ewig - habe hier max 8kb/s ) ...

fällt mir gerade wieder ein:

braucht(e) der scripting host vielleicht ein dos-like %temp% ?

denn ich musste für euch (wsusoffline)
1. erst wieder den scripting host reaktivieren (war sicherheitshalber deaktivert) und
2. *dann* kam "can not find D:\temp\WINXP~4\" (mein "temp-verzeichnis-gekürzt-auf~8-zeichen" ) und
3. deshalb legt ich "D:\temp\WINXP~4\" einfach an...
4. danach liefen die ersten 3 downloads bis inklusive 'wsusscn2.cab' zwar fehlerfrei durch,
aber dann kam es zum fehler "Error: Download failure for win glb" (und deswegen kam ich ja hier her...)

egal, ich hinterlege euch das hier nur noch einmal falls ihr eines tages noch einmal gedanken darüber machen müsst...
zur zeit läuft es ja gerade ganz gut (downloade noch) ...

Dass es jetzt funktioniert, ist doch schon mal eine gute Entwicklung.
Dass der Script-Host ein fehlerhaftes Verzeichnis ansteuert, liegt vermutlich daran, dass die CMD ihm diesen Fehler weitergibt. Der Skript-Host - er braucht kein DOS-Format - verarbeitet die Eingabe vermutlich direkt so, wie er sie von der CMD erhält (gekürztes DOS-Format), obwohl wsusou eigentlich die "normale" / vollständige Bennenung weitergeben sollte.

@WSUSUpdateAdmin
Vorschlag, um solche Fehler zu vermeiden: Prüfen, ob alle von wsusou direkt (nicht relativ) angesteuerten Pfade bei Verwendung eine solche "DOS-Kürzung" erhalten würden und bei Bedarf einen detailierten Fehler ausgeben.
Andere Möglichkeit: eigenes Verzeichnis im wsusou-tree, welches relativ angesteuert wird (Bsp. ..\tmp), und somit nicht gekürzt würde.
