"File hash does not match stored value"

Please copy the listed folders from your old WSUSOU folder and your Old client folder to the Client Folder of the trunk.
Then you empty the md Folder of the trunk.
In UpdateGenerator you have to Recheck the Operating Systems, which Should be downloaded; that's what I ment with "reconfiguring".
Now I recomment restarting Download to fix corrupted Files.

Sorry, aker, I can't get it to work... I'm sure I'm missing something, but I don't know what it is. I've tried to follow your instructions and I'm still getting the hash error. :(

You say to copy the listed folder from my old WSUSOU folder and my old client folder to the client folder of the trunk. I've tried it a number of ways. First, I did it in two steps: I copied the folders from the root of the old WSUSOU folder to \trunk\client\. When I tried to copy the listed folders from my old client folder to \trunk\client\, Windows asked me if I wanted to replace the current folders... Obviously, this was not correct. Then I tried to put the old client folders in a 'client' subfolder in the trunk (i.e., \trunk\client\client\). When I ran UpdateGenerator from .\trunk\ and then UpdateInstaller from \trunk\client\ I got the hash error.

The first time I ran UpdateGenerator I deleted the contents of \trunk\client\md\. I got the hash error when I ran \trunk\client\UpdateInstaller. The second time I deleted the contents of both \trunk\client\md\ and \trunk\client\client\md\. Again, I got the hash error when I ran \trunk\client\UpdateInstaller. Should I also be deleting the wsusscn2.cab file(s) from \client\wsus\ and \client\client\wsus\?

Do you have any more help for me? I'd really like to get this fixed... Thanks.

Pleas copy the Content of the ./Trunk/Client/Client Folder to ./Trunk/Client and delete the tree ./trunk/Client/Client.
There Should be no Client Folder in ./Trunk/Client.
Do Not overwrite any file.
Then delete the Content of ./Trunk/Client/md and Run UpdateGenerator

You should run the Generator again and create an updated and consistent update repository, along with updated hash values. Only then use the Update Installer.

Please ensure your WOU root folder only contains the folders visible in the image below:
WOU_Folder.jpg
WOU root folder
(17.72 KiB) Not downloaded yet

Please ensure your WOU client folder contains only the folders visible in the image below:
WOU_Folder2.jpg
WOU client folder
(31.07 KiB) Not downloaded yet

If your medium contains office updates add ofc, o2k3, o2k7, o2k10 and o2k10-x64 to the list of valid folders in client.

@boco: As I said, I followed aker's instructions, including the last step:
Then delete the Content of ./Trunk/Client/md and Run UpdateGenerator.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

@ Denniss: my root folder contains /ico and /Include. Should those be removed? Otherwise, the rest of it is the same (as is the contents of the client folder). I'll try once again...

The log you posted is from the updater, not the generator. But maybe I just misunderstood.

The /ico and /include directories can stay. They exist if you used the trunk version directly.

No, you're quite right--the log was from the updater. I was just seeing if it provided any clues to sort this out... Is there a generator log I could post? Would that be helpful?

It was recommended a few posts back that I try the trunk version. That's what I've been trying since... I removed /ico and /Include and I got the same hash mismatch error. Maybe I'll try to put them back and see if that changes anything. Thanks for sticking with me through this.
